We asked the question:

Will we see the promised volume of commercial-scale floating realised over the coming decade?

The spotlight is on floating technology and innovation is taking place at a huge speed.

Never before, has a new energy technology been asked to move from demonstrator to full-scale commercial deployment in such a compressed timeline. Questions remain unanswered; from grid to O&M strategies, there are significant issues to tackle, and quickly.

The great debate was a huge success

What an evening.

We assembled a panel of experts who between them hold views from across the spectrum. We had a live debate infront of nearly 100 people in the audience. We heard a diverse range of opinions. We did not hold back!

The Great Debate is took place on the evening of Tuesday, 8th October, at the Firepit venue in the centre of Aberdeen.

The Great Debate was a new event format hosted by
Ternan Energy and supported by the team at Re-Tech Events.

Thank you to Ternan Energy for backing this  project.
